It's all gone wrong

Post by Octavius »

Hi,

All has been working wonderfully for the past 8 months or so but has now broken!! I started off with the following errors:

5:11:32 - Grabbing 14 days of programs for 6 channels
15:11:32 - unknown character È (200) replaced with Ô (212) in BBC1 South East
15:11:32 - unknown character ½ (189) replaced with « (171) in BBC1 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character È (200) replaced with Ô (212) in BBC1 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character ¨ (168) replaced with ù (249) in BBC1 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character È (200) replaced with Ô (212) in BBC2 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character ¨ (168) replaced with ù (249) in BBC2 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character È (200) replaced with Ô (212) in BBC2 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character ¨ (168) replaced with ù (249) in BBC2 South East
15:11:33 - unknown character à (195) replaced with Ç (199) in Channel 4
15:11:33 - unknown character È (200) replaced with Ô (212) in Channel 4
15:11:34 - Got listings in 00:00:01
15:11:34 - 6 pages requested
15:11:34 - 669,512 B downloaded
15:11:34 - 1908 programs found
15:11:34 - 14 days found
15:11:34 - Writing XML
15:11:35 - XML Written
15:11:35 - Finished in 00:00:03

This manifested itself as not having complete data when GB-PVR tried to reasd the XML file. So I unistalled version 2 of XMLTV RT Grabber and went version 3.02.01W. I now get the following:

15:12:18 - Starting pass 1 of grabber UK_RT
15:12:18 - Please note that all data downloaded with this grabber is copyright of the Radio Times website (http://www.radiotimes.com) and the use of the data is restricted to personal use only. Also be aware that this service may not remain free and in future may become a paid-for service
15:12:18 - Error downloading "http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/105.dat" : Access violation at address 00405EB8 in module 'XmltvGUI.exe'. Read of address 00000004
15:12:18 - Grab failed on channel "105"
15:12:18 - Clearing cache
15:12:18 - Finished pass 1 of grabber UK_RT
15:12:18 - 0 programs found
15:12:18 - Combining Grabber Programs
15:12:18 - Finished Combining Grabber Programs
15:12:18 - Writing XML
15:12:18 - XML Written
15:13:37 - Starting pass 1 of grabber UK_RT
15:13:37 - Please note that all data downloaded with this grabber is copyright of the Radio Times website

Any ideas on what's going wrong?

Thanks for the reply.

Same again when I run it. I have tried it on two PC's at home. I'm just about to check my firewall just in case but I haven't made any changes to it. Also there have been no updates to the workstation itself.

I have noticed that the Access Violation error is the same everytime I run it:

5:41:35 - Error downloading "http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv/105.dat" : Access violation at address 00405EB8 in module 'XmltvGUI.exe'. Read of address 00000004

Also if I try to enter the http://xmltv.radiotimes.com/xmltv URL into a browser it prompts for a username and password, don't know if that is realated.

Any more ideas?
